Official Portrait of the Commander of the Finnish Defence Forces
One of my most significant achievements as an artist has been painting the official portrait of General Timo Kivinen, Commander of the Finnish Defence Forces, for the Defence Command in 2024. This commission was a great honor and required exceptional precision, technical skill, and the ability to capture the dignity and character of the subject. The purpose of the portrait was not only to honor the Commander's career but also to serve as a part of the history and traditions of the Finnish Defence Forces.
During the project, I had the opportunity to work closely with the subject and his representatives to ensure that the final result accurately reflected his personality and role as the leader of the Defence Forces. This work represents not only a personal milestone in my career but also the highest traditions of portrait art.
